Neuro – linguistic programming is an approach to communication, personal development, and psychotherapy created by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in California, United States in the 1970s.

NLP improves self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and social actions (especially much improved communicational skills). It’s a study of excellent communication with yourself and with others.

NLP is a set of tools and techniques, but it is so much more than that. It’s an attitude and a methodology of knowing how to achieve your goals and get results.  It modifies your behavior and sets it up for success. Through this program you are working on self-improvement, self-management, confidence and interpersonal communication.

NLP is used to treat fears and phobias, anxiety, poor self-esteem, stress, post-traumatic stress disorder, and overall reduced quality of life due to various psychological issues.

NLP also helps clients to develop their plans and goals, carry them out and to improve self-confidence.

What to Expect

NLP session doesn’t require induction to trance.  It operates through the conscious use of language to bring about changes in someone’s thoughts and behavior.

An NLP therapist may use a variety of techniques such as visualization, or forming a mental image of something you want, as well as visual-kinesthetic dissociation, a process by which the therapist guides the client in reliving trauma from the distance of an imaginative, out-of-body experience. The therapist may help you correct language you use that leads to negative thinking and faulty communication. NLP therapy can be short-term or long-term, depending on the individual and the extent of the problem.
